iLux Smart Desk Lamps’ Capabilities and Advantages:

• All iLux Lamps facilitate smartphone charging while you are working or resting: either through a USB port, or by acting as Smartphone docking stations for the most popular smartphones on the market – including iPhone 4 and 5, and all Android phones.
• The LED lamp colour output can run the whole gamut of “white” light colour, from “warm white” at Correlated Colour Temperature (CCT) of 2700K (Kelvin degrees), up to CCT of 6500K, emulating daylight.  Also, the light brightness can vary from a low 60 Lux to a full 1000 Lux Bright.
• These particular LED Lamps are so technologically advanced, that they can achieve over 90 on the CRI (Colour Rendering Index). This Index regards the fidelity in portraying Colours as they really are, and 90 is a value normally reserved for natural sunlight.
• The  27 LED Lamp is covered with state-of-the-art Diffuser Lens. Therefore, it is exceptionally designed to protect your eyesight, as it is fully anti-glare. Looking directly at the desk lamp by mistake while working or reading will no longer produce any glare effect or “white spots” for your eyes. 
• On the other hand, the lamp works at a power input of barely 11 Watts, making it up to 60% more energy efficient as compared to relevant fluorescent desk lamps. In particular, the offered Brightness can be compared with the output of a 100W Incandescent bulb, a 40W Fluorescent bulb or a 20W CFL. But the iLUX lamps not only offer huge energy savings in comparison with these lamps, but also have nil flickering (as opposed to the 60Hz of Incandescent and Fluorescent bulbs and 35Hz of CFL) and can last 10 times more, for a lifetime of 50,000 hours (as opposed to the expected 1,000 hours of a normal bulb and the 5,000 hours of Fluorescent bulbs).
